Vetus aluminium hull anodes provide effective corrosion protection for hulls and submerged metal components in freshwater, brackish water, and saltwater. Manufactured according to MIL-A-24779 (sh) standards, these high-quality aluminium anodes prevent galvanic corrosion and extend the lifespan of essential boat components.
Aluminium anodes are a more environmentally friendly alternative to zinc anodes and offer better protection in brackish water and areas with lower salt concentrations. They are lightweight, provide excellent protection, and are easy to install using bolt-on mounting. This makes them ideal for hulls, steering systems, rudders, and other metal surfaces requiring secure and replaceable protection.
For optimal protection, aluminium anodes should be inspected annually and replaced when 50 percent of the material has been consumed.
