With this new line of motorised valves, VETUS introduces a unique product range. The combination of an aluminium casing, metal gears, stainless steel (AISI 316) ball valve, and the extremely high torque (up to 220 Nm!)results in a highly reliable product with numerous applications. Furthermore, the motor is ignition protected and certified to the ISO 8846 Marine standard, for use in the engine room without risk of explosion.Under normal operating conditions, the actuator is lubricated for life, so maintenance is minimal.The motorized ball is supplied with metal transmission and gears, thermal overload protection and it′s also suitable for diesel fuel.A Vetus motorised ball valve can be opened and closed remotely using switch ELVPAN12 (12 Volt) or ELVPAN24 (24 Volt) or the wastewater control panel WWCP. These switches and panel are not included.
